Cortney Chadbourne
Veterinarian
Dr. Chadbourne is a born and raised local of the wonderful State of Maine. She was raised in Scarborough and loved the community found in Southern Maine. She has worked in the veterinary field since high school working her way up from receptionist, to veterinary assistant, to veterinary technician, and now veterinarian.
She stayed local and graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then in 2024 she acquired her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Prince Edward Island — Atlantic Veterinary College. She was awarded the Baron Pound Award 2024 for exceptional compassion and care showed to patients, and that level of compassion has only grown since then. She values building genuine relationships with her clients and their adored pets. The most important part of being a veterinarian for Dr. Chadbourne is prioritizing that pets and their parents have excellent support through the hardships that come with loving and caring for a pet for their whole life. She is honored to serve this community and is a smiling, kind professional that will help you care for your pet.
Dr. Chadbourne lives locally in North Yarmouth on a small farm with her incredibly supportive husband and plethora of pets. She will meet your level of enthusiasm and love for your cats, as she is thoroughly enamored with her own cats: Dakota, Luna, Lilo, and Stitch. She also has one sweet older dog, Molly, who has been an incredible help in fostering kittens and raising cats, as she loves cats too! She also has two lovely, funny and quirky horses, Goliath and Nellie, and a flock of hens. In her spare time, you can find her taking care of her animals, riding her horses, enjoying a good movie or book!
